Job Title:                                   Account Manager, Sales                       

Department:                              Sales and Marketing

Reports To:                                Sales Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager will manage customer accounts within a geographical territory.  Facilitate marketing efforts and manage an expedited leasing process.  The Account Manager will act as a liaison between all Optasite functional groups and serve as point of contact on sales related projects within your territory.  Deliver superior customer service to strengthen relationships and provide greater insight into market trends.  Provide the Sales Manager with accurate reporting and execution on sales strategies. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First-response to all sales related data requests ensuring they are responded to within 24 hours.
  • Identify and establish relationships with potential customers, consultants, contractors and technology vendors for network deployment.
  • Secure new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate acceptable business terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate and support collocation process.
  • Monitor and support team efforts to ensure timely and efficient closure of lease application process.
  • Analyze trends and tenant activity within territory.
  • Accurately forecast and track account activity to maximize sales performance.
  • Other duties may be assigned including special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self – Motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel 3 – 4 days per week.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or commensurate sales experience in the wireless industry
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales
  • General understanding of the established territory and the potential customers within.
